Starting Ca Mau 3 combined cycle gas turbine project

According to the project document, the 35,000 billon VND Ca Mau 3 power project including CCGTs with a total capacity of 1500 MW, power generation of 9 billion kWh/year and consuming1.2 million tons of LNG per year, expects to be put into operation in 2026-2027, contributing to ensuring power supply for the southern region in the condition that the coal thermal power projects in the region planned to be put into operation in period of 2026 - 2030 should be behind progress. Besides Ca Mau 3 power project, PV Power will also invest in Nhon Trach 3 & 4 CCGTs with a total capacity of 1300 – 1760 MW (by 650-880 MW each) using 1.4 million tons of LNG per year (backup fuel is DO). The total investment capital of these projects estimates about 32,481 billion VND, from which 25% is equity and 75% - loan.
