On May 10, 2022, at the hall of PetroVietnam Nhon Trach 2 Power Joint Stock Company, Phuoc Khanh Commune, Nhon Trach District, Dong Nai Province, PetroVietnam Power Corporation (PV Power) held the 11th Annual of Environmental, safety and health Conference in 2022.
Representing the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) to attend the Conference were Mr. Nguyen Manh Kha - Vice Chairman of the Oil and Gas Union and Mr. Le Hong Thai - Head of the Environmental Safety Technology Department and representatives of some functional departments of the Group.
On PV Power's side, there were Mr. Nguyen Minh Dao - Deputy Director, Mr. Nguyen Duy Hinh - Chairman of Union and representatives of the Corporation's departments.
Through the short film report summarizing the management of environmental, safety and health work in 15 years, PV Power has well organized and implemented the provisions of the law in security work, safety, fire prevention and fighting, environmental protection and prevention of the Covid-19 epidemic. This is the premise for PV Power to successfully complete the production and business plan, making an important contribution to the achievement of the targets entrusted by PVN.

Overview of the Conference
Under the command of Deputy Director Nguyen Minh Dao and Mr. Nguyen Diep - Acting Head of environmental, safety and health Department, PV Power, the Conference exchanged a number of discussions such as: (1) Compliance with regulations on OSH in the operation and maintenance of power plants, lessons and recommendations of Nhon Trach 2 Power Joint Stock Company; (2) Solutions to adapt safely, flexibly and effectively control the Covid-19 epidemic to ensure safety during the Overhaul of Unit 2 of Vung Ang 1 Power Plant in 2021... of Ha Tinh PetroVietnam Power Company; (3) Compliance with regulations on health and safety in the overhaul of the plant and proposals of Ca Mau PetroVietnam Power Company; (4) Risk prevention management in power production activities of environmental, safety and health Department; (5) Results and lessons learned from organizing OSH training of Petrovietnam Power Services Joint Stock Company and (6) Dam safety management and environmental protection of Hua Na Hydropower Joint Stock Company. The delegates actively discussed and commented on the content of the presentations presented at the Conference, thereby realizing the interest of PV Power for health and safety work.

Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Le Hong Thai - Head of the Environmental Safety Technology Department, PVN highly appreciated PV Power's achievements in of environmental, safety and health work over the past time and thanked the staff of PVN and PV Power for their contributions. He emphasized that PV Power must not be subjective in safety work, should pay attention to information and disseminate incidents to member/affiliated units; develop specific plans, suitable to the units to perform well the work of environmental safety and health of the Corporation; Raise awareness of workers; Reviewing and perfecting the Technology Safety system; Flexible application of digital transformation to health and safety work…

Summary of the Conference Mr. Nguyen Minh Dao, PV Power’s Deputy Director, thanked the attention and direction of the superior delegates. PV Power will absorb the guiding ideas, add to the action plan, develop a specific implementation plan to achieve the set goals in 2022, in order to improve the environmental, safety and health work of the Corporation. At the same time, he emphasized that in the coming time, PV Power will be determined to improve the quality of training, education and propaganda for employees of the Corporation; Strengthening and improving the quality of inspection and inspection of the compliance with legal regulations and regulations of the Group and the Corporation at the units.
