Attending the meeting were PV Power Member Chairman of Board of Directors Ha Duc Thu, Vice President Pham Xuan Truong, the Executive Management Board, heads of functional divisions/ offices of the Corporation.
Representing Toshiba to attend the meeting were Senior Sale Director Masataka Fukumizu, Senior Deputy Director Koichi Sato and representatives for Toshiba’s group.

Accordingly, PV Power and Toshiba will do collaborative to develop practical and sustainable maintenance service solutions for Steam Turbine and Generator “STG” for coal-fired thermal power plant in Vietnam. Both side also committed to collaborative in the field of power plant operation, emergency outage, training and provide support require parts from the original equipment manufacturer.

PV Power Member Chairman of Board of Directors Ha Duc Thu expressed his gratitude for the corporation with Toshiba – a corporation has a lot experience in the fields of manufacture, installation, operation Steam Turbine and Generator maintenance service. Especially Toshiba is a Steam Turbine and Generator supplier for Vung Ang 1 coal-fried thermal power plant. In the past period, Toshiba strongly supported us to solve an emergency outage of the first turbine and checking the second turbine for Vung Ang 1 coal-fried thermal power plant. This is an important factor to continue further cooperation of both sides. He added.

Speaking at the ceremony, Toshiba Senior Sale Director Masataka Fukumizu said: PV Power and Toshiba shares a lot of cultural similarities, opinion and development strategy. He hoped that the implementation of the MOU will contribute to strengthening the cooperation and marking the new development of the long-term relationship, to bring the mutual benefit of the two units.
