At the working session, Mr Nguyen Duy Giang – Vice President of PVPower has pointed out the potential and strength of the Corporation as well as the gas power projects which are under the feasibility study phase. PV Power is desiring to corporate with Mitsui Corporation in developing such projects in the near future.
According to Representative of Mitsui Corporation, Mr Ainoya – Director of Project Development Unit, Mitsui&Co was established since 1947 – being headquartered in Tokyo, Japan with 137 branches located in 65 different countries.
Mitsui has strong experience in building the gas power projects including the power plants using LNG gas in many different countries such as Mexico and Qatar of which the plants have the total capacity of 2,000MW…

He added, in collaboration with PVN – Mitsui has earlier participated in developing block B gas mine in Kien Giang province. He has revealed that, after this working session, Mitsui will be able to corporate with PV Power investing in gas power project in Kien Giang province in order to promote the advantage of its existing production chain.
In addition, Mr Ainoya has expressed that Mitsui will seriously consider buying PV Power’s stock in order to become its strategic shareholder upon the successful equitization of PV Power in the coming time.
