On Dec 20 2016, in Hanoi, PV Power held a conference to summarize the business activities of 2016, plans for 2017 and launch the emulation for fulfilling target of 2017.
Attending the conference were Mr Nguyen Vu Truong Son – President & CEO of PVN , Mr Nguyen Tien Vinh – Member of BoD of PVN , Mr Do Chi Thanh – Deputy President & CEO of PVN, Mrs Nghiem Thuy Lan – Chairwomen PVN Trade of Union and heads of division & member units of PVN, as well as all managers and employees of PV Power.
The Conference was chaired by Mr. Ho Cong Ky – Chairman of Board of Director of PV Power, Mr.Nguyen Xuan Hoa – President & CEO of PV Power, Mr.Nguyen Duy Hinh – Chairman PV Power Trade of Union.

At the conference, President & CEO Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoa present report on the business results of 2016 and key talk for PV Power in 2017. It is clearly said in the report that 2016 is a overcome difficult and safe & stable operation year to PV Power. All the PV Power’s plant is safe & stable operation, contributing to satisfying the demand for additional charge of the EVN/Ao. Moreover, PV Power has completed target of the year regarding such indicators as total power output is 21.156 billion kWh, turnover of the year is 26.522 billion VND, profit after tax is 1.595 billion VND. 1.126 billion VND is contributed to the State Budget.
The project for enterprise restructuring has been implemented urgently, strictly, meeting the schedule required. The scientific, technological and training activities have been actively implemented. Social security has been actively maintained in accordance with the approved plan and PVN’s target.
In 2017, PV Power continues well co-ordinate with all partner for safe operation & efficiency of power plant, the Corporation aims for over 21 billion kWh in total power output, turnover is 29.000 billion VND, the profit before tax is 1.367 billion VND, 1.105 billion is contributed to the State Budget.

On behalf of PetroVietnam, Vice President Mr.Do Chi Thanh warmly praised the great efforts of PetroVietnam Power Corporation. Its contribute to the turnover of PetroVietnam. He also expressed PVPower continue to ensure the safe operation all the power plants, must fulfill all the set targets and accelerate the progress of equitization for PVPower in 2017.
The Vice President also affirmed that PetroVietnam would create the best and most favorable conditions for the PVPower to achieve high economic efficiency, contributing to the development of PetroVietnam.
